Time to get back out and recreate the vibe of Northampton's club scene from the mid-eighties to the mid-nineties. Think Ritzy, Top of the Town, Forties et al. We have teamed up with one of Northampton's best loved DJs from Northampton's nightlife, past and present.

That's right, Mark Dean has jumped on board to give us a night to remember. He'll play all of the old classics and mix it up with some new sounds too. As a special thank you for putting your dancing shoes back on, we will be serving complimentary drinks to all guests that arrive before 9pm. What a great opportunity to put your best clothes on and bump in to some familiar faces. Can't wait to see you all there x

About NJB PromotionsNJB Promotions is a new, social, venture rather than a commercial concept. It is operated by me, Nicky Bunting.

My background is 20 years of experience as a PA at Director level followed by over 15 years as a self-employed micro-business advisor and bookkeeper. These skills, combined with an urge to go out in Northampton town to a special and affordable event, should give my guests the confidence to trust in me and support the ethos of LAVISH.

I am truly overwhelmed by the response that I have had in creating LAVISH and I am so pleased that there are likeminded people that crave the same entertainment as I do.

I am lucky to have local, renowned DJs in Northampton that have been willing to support me in this venture. No matter how good I am at pulling it all together, it is the DJ that can make or break the evening.

About LAVISHLavish has been created to provide a private space for guests to meet up and dance to club music from the 80s and 90s and the best of the rest.

The ethos behind the name is all about the special touches to make the evening a more memorable experience for our guests.

This was in response to hearing, all too often, "there's nowhere for us to go".

We sell tickets to cover the costs associated with putting on a do that we would want to go to. This makes LAVISH much more than a good night out and we cannot wait to dance the night away with you.

Here are a few frequently asked questions to help you to enjoy your evening with us:Why do you limit tickets to 100? We keep our events small as we like to ensure that we can give our guests a personal experience when they arrive. This may be something as simple as a personal greeting which, we think, makes a difference. If we know you are celebrating something special, we will go even further.

Will my groovy moves be published on social media? NJB Promotions have taken the decision not to publish photos or videos of our events on social media. We think that this gives our guests the privacy that they desire by coming to a private event. However, we understand that our guests may want to share their experience with their friends and they are welcome to do so and tag us if they choose to.

What happens if we don’t like the arrival drink? We select drinks in collaboration with the venue and offer a range of bottled beers and ciders as well as party drinks, to suit most tastes. If there really is nothing to suit your palette, please speak to Nicky Bunting on the night.

Can I reserve a table? We can reserve tables for groups of six or more. Simply buy your tickets and then we will get in touch with you about a table reservation. Each member of your group can buy their ticket individually so that one person doesn’t get the job of collecting the funds. We can still reserve tables on this basis.

What happens if I buy my ticket and then my plans change? No problem at all. We will simply transfer your ticket to one of our other events later in the year. And you can keep transferring, there's no use by date we'll be happy to see you at some stage.
